Today's December Daily® will have two stories as they connect to the end.
The good weather continues today ... we went to Brava beach, enjoying the sun while my friend arranged the apartment to receive renters. Even knowing Florianópolis and its problems during the summer, I still enjoy its beauty, the meeting of the forest and the hills with the sea. It is a city that adds nature, culture, beauty, tranquility, congestion and magic ... this magic comes not only from its beauty but due to the legends and folklore about witches that surround the history of the city. If you search you will discover many stories of fishermen about causes, prayers, bad looks, attacks and burials - Franklin Cascaes and the museologist Gelcy Coelho (Peninha) have already written about the subject.
It is at this point that the two stories of today meet - a great friend sent me some time ago the sketch of a painting and I said that the picture would look beautiful and would be for one of the few witches still existing. Yesterday he sent a photo of my gift that is still being produced and the title is witches! The connection I have with him is incredible and I keep saying the popular saying: "I do not believe in witches, but that there are, there are."
