Um pouco da região IX/ Some of the region IX - Chapada

 

 

Esta é a segunda vez que vou para o sitio do Eloir na Chapada. A casa dele fica em um lugar maravilhoso, com duas cachoeiras espetaculares. Desta vez o rio estava muito cheio e a praia que havia no ano passado simplesmente sumiu. Agora só tem água! Nadar em um lugar destes é uma forma de limpar a alma. O dia foi do jeito que eu gosto - sol, amigos, mato, estrada e água gelada!

Eloir tem uma proposta interessante de uso e manejo da terra, a agrofloresta, na qual combina espécies nativas da região com cultivo agrícola, permitindo a produção de diversas culturas em uma mesma área, sem o uso de agrotóxico ou fogo. O sítio já ofereceu alguns cursos sobre sistema agroflorestal. Uma experiência sem igual. Vale a pena ver o vídeo abaixo:

This is the second time I go to Eloir's farm in Chapada. His house is in a wonderful place, with two spectacular waterfalls. The day was the way I like it - sun, friends, forest, road and cold water!

Eloir has an interesting proposal for use and land management - agroforestry, which combines native species with agricultural cultivation, allowing the production of different crops in the same area, without the use of pesticides or fire.
