Os programas sobre reformas de casas trazem um recorte do que de fato ocorre durante o período em que ela acontece, aparecem alguns problemas, é necessário cortar algumas coisas para que o orçamento não extrapole, mas ao final tudo dá certo! No entanto, na vida nem sempre é assim...
Algum tempo atrás a Leticia foi estudar fora, mudou para um apartamento bem pequeno e mais velho. Precisava de uma reforma, os azulejos estavam caindo e as tubulações ainda eram de ferro, mas o dinheiro estava muito curto e não deu para fazer nada. Depois de economizar por três anos resolvi fazer a reforma, mas como fazê-la com pessoas morando ali dentro? Era necessário reformar a cozinha e o banheiro ao mesmo tempo para diminuir os custos e finalizar a obra em três semanas (período que meu amigo tinha disponível - o faz tudo - mestre de obra, pedreiro, eletricista. Raro de se encontrar hoje em dia).
Foi um caos, mas sobrevivemos! Cinco pessoas e um cachorro, em um apartamento de 34m², vivendo com poeira, entulho, cheiro de cimento, barulho, mais poeira, caixas de azulejos, indecisões, vizinhos reclamando, trabalhando online... Essa é a vida da maior parte das brasileiras e brasileiros quando resolvem fazer alguma reforma. O que fazíamos para desestressar? Batíamos perna para comprar o material e fazíamos piada de tudo! Foram exatamente 21 dias de trabalho intenso, troca de todos os azulejos do banheiro e da cozinha, da parte hidráulica e elétrica, e do piso do banheiro.
O resultado final ficou bom, mas ainda faltam várias coisas - box, pia do banheiro e armários da cozinha. Preciso agora me organizar financeiramente para fazer essa segunda parte da reforma. Enquanto isso, Leticia vai vivendo no improviso.

Some time ago, Leticia went to study abroad and moved to a very small and older apartment. She needed renovation, the tiles were falling apart and the pipes were still made of iron, but money was very tight and I couldn't do anything. After saving for three years I decided to do the renovation, but how can I do it with people living inside? It was necessary to renovate the kitchen and bathroom at the same time to reduce costs and complete the work in three weeks (a period that my friend had available - the handyman - foreman, bricklayer, electrician. Rare to find these days).
It was chaos, but we survived! Five people and a dog, in a 34m² apartment, living with dust, rubble, the smell of cement, noise, more dust, boxes of tiles, indecision, neighbors complaining, working online... This is the life of most Brazilian people when they decide to carry out some reform. What did we do to de-stress? We tried to buy the material and made fun of everything! It took exactly 21 days of intense work, changing all the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, the plumbing and electrical parts, and the bathroom floor.
The end result was good, but there were still several things missing - shower stall, bathroom sink and kitchen cabinets. I now need to organize myself financially to carry out this second part of the renovation. Meanwhile, Leticia lives in improvisation.
