O verão em Boston é maravilhoso! A temperatura é agradável, anoitece mais tarde e muitas atividades acontecem ao ao livre. Hoje foi o dia da Orquestra de Langwood tocar na concha acústica do Charles River Esplanade, uma área verde ao longo do rio, com lagos, pier, pedalinhos, caiaques.
A seleção das músicas foi incrível - John Williams com The Cawboy Overture, Rossini com Willian Tell Overture, Gounod com Funeral March of a Marionette, entre outras. Experimentar esses momentos, com pessoas de diversas nacionalidades sentadas na grama e fazendo pique-nique, diminui a sensação de segregação existente na cidade. Esse é um espaço democrático.
Adoro espaços ao ar livre e aqui a população aproveita muito esses espaços, pois o período de sol e calor é bem demarcado. É possível usar suas alamedas para correr ou sentar em um banco e apreciar as árvores, o rio, as pessoas. Ao anoitecer Cambridge começa a acender suas luzes e o reflexo na água fica lindo!

The selection of songs was amazing - John Williams with The Cowboy Overture, Rossini with Willian Tell Overture, Gounod with Funeral March of a Marionette, among others. Experiencing these moments, with people of various nationalities sitting on the grass and picnicking, diminishes the sense of segregation that exists in the city. This is a democratic space.
I love outdoor spaces and here people enjoy these spaces a lot because the sunny season and heat are well demarcated. You can use your paths to run or you can sit on a bench and enjoy the trees, the river, the people. At dusk Cambridge begins to turn on its lights and the reflection in the water is beautiful
