Neve/ Snow

Ao chegar em Boston todos me falavam que deveria ter vindo em agosto, assim estaria mais preparada para aguentar o frio e a neve. Apesar do frio de -18 graus Celsius (com sensação térmica de -25) que peguei em alguns dias por aqui, eles não atrapalharam em nada a alegria de ver as alterações da paisagem ao longo do outono e agora do inverno. 

Para alguém que nasceu no sul do Brasil, o frio não assusta muito, para falar a verdade foram poucas as situações em que senti frio aqui, eu gosto do frio! Todas as casas e locais tem calefação, as roupas são apropriadas para baixas temperaturas, assim se você não estiver desempregado ou for homeless, não terá grandes problemas. Eu nunca tinha visto neve na quantidade que teve aqui (até agora), isso valeu por todo o frio que senti (e pela lama que fica depois da neve...).

When I arrived in Boston, everyone told me that I should have come in August, so I would be better prepared to withstand the cold and the snow. Despite the cold of -18 degrees Celsius (with a feeling of heat of -25) that I caught in a few days here, they did not disturb at all the joy of seeing the changes of the landscape throughout the autumn and now of the winter.

For someone born in southern Brazil, the cold does not scare much, to tell you the truth, there were few situations where I felt cold here, I like the cold! All homes and places have heating, clothes are suitable for low temperatures, so if you are not unemployed or homeless, you will not have big problems. I had never seen snow in the amount we had here (so far), it was worth all the cold I felt (and the mud that remains after the snow ...).
