Andamos um pouco pelas praias da região - Belmar, Springlake e Manasquan -, mas não deu para ficar muito tempo, pois o vento estava bem forte e gelado. Estou tão acostumada com praia e sol que esqueci o quanto pode ficar frio a beira do mar. Não tive coragem de sentar e ficar apreciando as ondas. No ano passado também estávamos em uma praia, mas o calor nos acompanhava.
Hoje também foi o dia para embrulhar os presentes e colocá-los debaixo da árvore de Natal que Letícia e Ana montaram.

Today we walked a bit through the beaches of the area - Belmar, Springlake and Manasquan - but we could not stay long because the strong and freezing wind. I am so accustomed to the beach and the sun that I forgot how cold it can be by the sea. I did not dare sit and enjoy the waves. Last year we were also on a beach, but the heat was with us.
Today was also the day to wrap the presents and place them under the Christmas tree that Leticia and Ana set up.
