A Páscoa sempre teve um grande significado para mim. Quando criança eu não entendia porque as pessoas haviam matado uma pessoa tão boa quanto Jesus, para mim isto era inconcebível! Era muito cruel. Lembro que chorava ao assistir o filme sobre a morte de Jesus. Fui crescendo e aprendendo os mistérios da vida e da morte. A ingenuidade foi se perdendo no caminho e descobri que o ser humano pode ser mau.
A Semana Santa é um momento que nos oferece a oportunidade de refletirmos sobre a vida e o nosso desenvolvimento. É um período de introspecção, de meditação sobre a coragem, autenticidade, aceitação, sabedoria, consciência, resistência, amor universal, tempo. Se cada um parasse um pouco e olhasse para a sua própria vida com estas reflexões o mundo ficaria mais harmônico, mais humano.

Easter always had a great meaning for me. As a child I did not understand why people had killed a person as good as Jesus, to me this was inconceivable! It was very cruel. I remember crying while watching the movie about the death of Jesus. I grew up learning the mysteries of life and death. The naivete was getting lost in the way and I discovered that the human being can be bad.
Holy Week is a time that offers us the opportunity to reflect on life and our development. It is a period of introspection, of meditation on courage, authenticity, acceptance, wisdom, consciousness, endurance, universal love, time. If each one stopped a little and looked at her/his own life with these reflections the world would be more harmonic, more human.
