Comecei as postagens sobre Londres no ano passado, logo após nosso retorno, com o intuito de mostrar por onde passamos e meu olhar sobre a cidade. Já faz seis meses que a viagem ocorreu e continuo a escrever sobre o assunto, pois muita coisa boa ocorreu e algumas nem tanto.

A fim de economizar e ter maior liberdade, vivendo um pouco do "clima" da cidade utilizamos o sistema Airbnb para a hospedagem em Londres (https://www.airbnb.com.br/). Foi uma experiência incrível. Em outras viagens para o exterior eu já havia usado sistemas de hospedagens em apartamentos, em Barcelona fiquei em um flat maravilhoso (https://www.booking.com/hotel/es/next-to.pt-br.html) e em Lisboa, num apartamento no quarto andar de um prédio antigo, nas estreitas ruas do Bairro Alto (www.booking.com). 

As fotos acima são dos dois apartamentos que ficamos em Londres. Como nossa ideia inicial era ficarmos somente cinco dias em Londres e depois ir para a Edimburgo, fizemos a reserva no primeiro apartamento somente para período planejado. Com isso tivemos que fazer uma pequena mudança no sexto dia, saímos do bairro Notting Hill para o Maida Vale. 

Ambos apartamentos tinham dois quartos, sala, cozinha e banheiro, sendo que o primeiro era bem mais equipado. Tínhamos todos os utensílios para cozinhar, sala com bom tamanho para refeições, ferro de passar roupa, bom sistema de aquecimento e a proprietária muito acolhedora e solícita. Recebeu-nos muito bem, ajudou-nos com Uber e indicação de metro e ônibus. No segundo apartamento tivemos alguns problemas com o aquecimento em um dos quartos e a cozinha servia mais para lanches, tivemos que fazer algumas adaptações para produzir nossas refeições. Mesmo assim valeu a pena!

I started the posts about London last year, shortly after our return, in order to show where we passed and my perception about the city. It has been six months since the trip occurred and I continue to write about it, because its good to remembrer a lot of good things happened (and some not so much).
In order to save money and to have more freedom, by living a little of the city's "climate" we use the Airbnb system for hosting in London (https://www.airbnb.com.br/). It was an amazing experience. In other trips abroad I had already used lodging systems in apartments, in Barcelona I stayed in a wonderful flat (https://www.booking.com/hotel/es/next-to.pt-br.html) and in Lisbon, in an apartment on the fourth floor of an old building, in the narrow streets of Bairro Alto (www.booking.com).
The photos above are from the two apartments we stayed in London. As our initial idea was to stay only five days in London and then go to Edinburgh, we made the reservation in the first apartment only for planned period. With that we had to make a small change on the sixth day, we left the Notting Hill neighborhood for the Maida Vale.

Both apartments were good; they had two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom, the first one being much more equipped. We had all the cooking utensils, good size dining room, iron, good heating system and the very welcoming and helpful owner. She received us very well, helped us with Uber and metro and bus indication. In the second apartment we had some problems with the heating in one of the rooms and the kitchen served more for snacks, we had to make some adaptations to produce our meals. It was still worth it!
