Como mencionei no post sobre Londres viajamos no dia 17 de outubro para esta linda cidade. A Leticia estava radiante e extremamente empolgada com a viagem. Foi muito bom vê-la ansiosa e feliz ao mesmo tempo.
Esta viagem foi totalmente planejada por nós com certa antecedência, isto trouxe redução dos custos, mesmo com a libra variando de R$ 4,30 a 4,70 nos meses que antecederam nossa viagem. No início pensamos em ir para Londres e outras cidades próximas, mas no final ficamos dez dias somente em Londres e foi pouco tempo para ver e viver esta cidade.
Para aqueles que pensam em viajar para o exterior seguem algumas dicas:
- busquem informações sobre a cidade em sites específicos de pessoas que vivem por lá. Sempre dão sugestões de lugares interessantes, nem sempre turísticos. Dois sites que me auxiliaram bastante foram Londres para principiantes e Dica de Londres.
- o seguro médico precisa ser adquirido para as viagens no exterior. Pesquise os preços, pois tem uma grande variação nos valores, os oferecidos nos bancos para correntista são bem mais caros. Vale a pena fazer o seguro familiar.
- a hospedagem mais em conta para o nosso caso foi pelo sistema Airbnb. Estávamos em cinco pessoas e todas queriam vivenciar Londres de uma forma mais intimista, conhecer pessoas e novos espaços. Foi a melhor coisa que fizemos!
- se for mãe e viajar com menores de 18 anos, é preciso a autorização paterna ou vice-versa. As companhias aéreas não permitem fazer o check in sem a autorização ou mandato judicial (que demora a ser expedido).
- a British Airways tem voo direto para Londres, chegando no aeroporto de Heathrow, ela trabalha em conjunto com a Iberia. Precisa ficar atento no site dessas companhias aéreas para identificar as promoções que surgem. Comprando a passagem com antecedência, não terá preocupações com o orçamento durante o período da viagem.
- ao chegar no aeroporto você tem as seguintes opções de transporte para a região central - trem, metro (undreground, linha Picadilly), taxi (cab) ou Uber. A opção mais barata é o metro, especialmente se comprar o cartão Oyster. Existem aplicativos que o setor de transporte disponibiliza para planejar sua rota pelo metro (Journey Planner) ou City Mapper (para baixar no smartphone).
- Londres é uma cidade incrível, cheia de história e memórias. Precisa ser explorada lenta e atentamente, pois a cada passo e a cada olhar você se depara com a imensidão e diversidade de parques, avenidas, becos, pubs, mercados, pontes, pessoas e o rio Tâmisa. Deixe a cidade te envolver, não fique restrito ao lugares turísticos.

As I mentioned in other post about London, we traveled on 17th October to this beautiful city. The Leticia was radiant and extremely excited about the trip. It was very nice to see her anxious and happy at the same time.This trip was totally planned for us with some anticipation, it brought lower costs, even with the pound ranging from R$ 4.30 to 4.70 in the months before our trip. At first we thought of going to London and other nearby cities, but in the end we were ten days in London and was little time to see and experience this city.For Brazilian people who think of traveling abroad are some tips:- Seek information about the city on specific sites of people who live there. Always give suggestions of interesting places, not always tour. Two sites that helped me a lot were London for beginners and London Tip.- Medical insurance must be purchased for travel abroad. We were five people and all wanted to experience London in a more intimate way, meet people and new spaces. It was the best thing we did!- If you are mother and is traveling with children under 18, you need parental permission or vice versa.
