In addition to the wonderful coastline, Recife offers some interesting cultural attractions such as the Instituto Ricardo Brennand, founded thirteen years ago.
The space is huge, with many gardens, ponds, a restaurant and buildings in Tudor style. It has one of the largest collections of knives in the world with over 3,000 pieces and one of the most complete collections of historical documents related to the Dutch occupation in northeastern Brazil.
